We have placed separators between some teeth to aid in achieving a slight amount of space between them, often to allow for the fabrication of an appliance
It is extremely important that separators remain in place until your next appointment. Unfortunately, if they are lost and there is not enough space for us at your next visit, we may be unable to complete all or part of the appointment and need to reschedule.
✅ Brush normally
✅ Replace them if they come out using the instructions we showed you while you were in the office
✅ Call or text the office If you are unable to replace them, so that we may assist you
❌ Use floss where the separators are
❌ Eat any sticky or chewy foods like chewing gum, gummies, Skittles, Starburst, Sour Patch Kids, taffy, caramel, etc
