Dr. Whiteley earned his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from East Carolina University, graduating with honors and recognition for both academic achievement and community involvement.
He completed his orthodontic residency and Master’s degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where his research was published in multiple academic journals.
It was during dental school that Dr. Whiteley met his wife, Kelly, a fellow classmate, over shared coursework and a little friendly college football rivalry. (Go Pirates!)

Outside the office, Dr. Whiteley enjoys spending time with his wife and son, Quentin, and enjoying everything the High Country has to offer. He enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and cooking, along with working on projects around the house.
He’s always had a love for animals, enjoys driving classic cars, and has a well-known interest in Star Wars and space, something patients quickly notice if they take a peek at his office.
